We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Production Operative at our Poulton-le-Fylde site. Duties will be of a general wood machining nature producing inserts for composite building panels, work tops, door casings, etc. The candidate will also be required to undertake sub-assembly work of various products using hand tools.

Responsibilities
- Sub assembly work on various products using hand tools.
- General joinery of modular buildings, housings and shelters.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
- Labelling and final preparation of products ready for despatch.
- Movement of stock for assembly / distribution.

Ideal Candidate
- A confident person with good communication skills.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Basic knowledge of IT.
- The ability to accurately process sub-assembly documentation.
- Practically minded.
- Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety.
- Previous joinery, product assembly, distribution or warehousing experience would be advantageous.
- Preferably RTITB accredited Forklift Truck (FLT) training (desirable).
You may also have experience in:
Joinery, Product Assembly, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Building, Manufacturing, Production, Packaging, Distribution, Warehousing, Teamwork, Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT), Export, Loading / Unloading, Manual Handling.
