We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Production Operative at our Poulton-le-Fylde site. Duties will be of a general wood machining nature producing inserts for composite building panels, work tops, door casings, etc. The candidate will also be required to undertake sub-assembly work of various products using hand tools.

Responsibilities

Sub assembly work on various products using hand tools.
General joinery of modular buildings, housings and shelters.
Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
Labelling and final preparation of products ready for despatch.
Movement of stock for assembly / distribution.

Ideal Candidate

A confident person with good communication skills.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Basic knowledge of IT.
The ability to accurately process sub-assembly documentation.
Practically minded.
Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team.
Good understanding of Health and Safety.
Previous joinery, product assembly, distribution or warehousing experience would be advantageous.
Preferably RTITB accredited Forklift Truck (FLT) training (desirable).
