Stock Control Manager

We are currently seeking an organised and enthusiastic individual to join our fast-paced Operations Department at Glasdon UK Limited. The role involves ensuring that the Company maintains adequate stock levels and warehouse efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Management of warehouse stock inventory.
  • Stock reconciliation and location management.
  • Drive continuous improvement of our commercial system.
  • Maintain an accurate and extensive inventory data base.
  • Product code creation and managing Bill of Materials (BoM’s).
  • Stock tracking and stock auditing.
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders throughout the in-house supply chain.
  • Goods inwards management.
  • Operational and team management.

Title: Stock Control Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Location: Blackpool, Lancashire
Driving Licence: Essential

Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge of the supply chain process.
  • Be familiar with stock inventory and commercial computer systems.
  • A confident person with good communication skills.
  • Management or supervisory experience.
  • Be enthusiastic and pro-active.
  • Good IT, literacy, numerical and analytical skills.
  • Practical hands on attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You may also have experience in:

  • Stock & Inventory Control, Warehouse Management Systems, Supervising, Supply Chain, Planning, 5S, Order Cycle, Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Bill of Materials, Commercial Systems, Auditing, Product Organisation, Free Issue, Total Quality Management (TQM), ISO, Kaizen, Team Leader.
