We currently have opportunities for a Warehouse Person to join our Production and Distribution Departments at our Blackpool site.

Responsibilities

  • The position will involve sub-assembly work of various products using hand tools.
  • Packing and labelling of goods ready for despatch.
  • Safe Loading & Unloading of Commercial Vehicles.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
  • Movement and organisation of stock for assembly / distribution.
  • Full training will be provided.

Ideal Candidate

  • A confident person with good communication skills.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Basic knowledge of IT.
  • The ability to accurately process sub-assembly documentation.
  • Practically minded.
  • Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Previous joinery, product assembly, distribution or warehousing experience would be advantageous.
  • Preferably RTITB accredited Forklift Truck (FLT) training.

You may also have experience in;

  • Joinery, Product Assembly, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Building, Manufacturing, Production, Packaging, Distribution, Warehousing, Teamwork, Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT), Export, Loading / Unloading, Manual Handling.
