At Glasdon, we have more than forty years' experience in the design and manufacture of modular buildings and equipment housings. Attention to detail and the highest quality materials ensure our customers are happy with their purchase for many years.
When a new client begins an enquiry, we would always recommend a no-obligation visit by a member of our experienced field team. A trained Glasdon representative is available to visit your site in order to discuss your requirements, survey the location and make recommendations to ensure the final product is precisely tailored to meet your needs.
In order to choose the right system for your purpose, a few things need to be taken into account:
How big does the building need to be?
What will the building be used for?
Is your new building to be sited outdoors or indoors?
Will the building be in use 24 hours a day, or just a few hours at a time?
For our range of housings, we would need to know the internal height required - we can produce housings with standard heights of one to three and a half metres to accommodate your equipment.
Your Glasdon representative will sit down with you to discuss your potential product in detail. Specifying a building is a highly involved process, and we have plenty of panels to choose from: the Beacon(TM) Modular Building System comprises 22 standard panel styles that can be manufactured in your choice of BS 4800 or RAL colours, for example.
We offer extensive choice in glazing materials, exterior and interior fittings, electric heating, lighting and mains sockets, and ventilation.
Our dedicated Buildings and Housings team will prepare a detailed quotation package based on your requirements that includes a precise CAD drawing produced by our in-house Technical department. Once you agree the final design for your order, the building will go into production.
We will give you an estimated delivery date at the time of ordering and keep you fully informed of the progress. As construction nears completion, we will arrange a firm date with you. Your building will usually be delivered fully assembled and ready for immediate installation onto a prepared concrete base, but some of our products can be delivered in panel form and assembled on-site if access is a problem.
We deliver buildings and housings on specially-equipped vehicles fitted with a crane. Our delivery and installation teams are accredited with multiple schemes, so you can be assured that our service will exceed all standards.
