Hot on the heels of winning the renowned Green Apple Award, our Origin® Curve and Horizon bins notched another environmental win.

Following on from our 2024 Green Apple Award for Recycled Product Innovation, Glasdon Group Limited went up against tough competition globally in the next tier of Green Organisation awards.
Established in 1994, The Green Organisation is an international non-profit group that campaigns for and champions environmental best practice around the world. The Green Apple Awards have become the organisation’s signature scheme, aiming to recognise and reward sustainable innovation from companies and organisations across the globe.
By winning a Green Apple Award in 2024, Glasdon were also eligible for The Green World Awards in 2025, the highest tier of award that allows companies and organisations to win environmental recognition not only for themselves, but also for their home countries.
Glasdon are delighted to announce that we have secured a silver Green World Award 2025 for our Origin® Curve and Origin® Horizon litter and recycling bins. Our company was one of only a handful from the United Kingdom to earn such prestigious recognition.
Alongside this achievement, Glasdon are now recognised as Green World Ambassadors for helping others to help the environment. Our award-winning paper will also feature in the 29th volume of ‘The Green Book’, a published work of reference for environmental best practice across the globe.
This latest accolade from The Green Organisation is a further testament to the sustainable product design and environmental leadership that defines Glasdon as a company. We are proud to offer our now multi-award-winning Origin bins as a sustainable waste management solution for outdoor areas and natural surroundings.

The Origin bins are made of 86% recycled material, and are 100% recyclable at the end of their lifetime. In this way, the Origin range not only encourages others to recycle, but also contributes to a circular economy by being entirely recyclable themselves.
Glasdon are committed to operating in a sustainable way, and continuously improving our environmental practices. Wherever possible, we use recycled and recyclable materials to construct our products, with ongoing research dedicated to learning new and more sustainable ways to manufacture and deliver. Additionally, with innovative and long-lasting design, we ensure that our products are the economical choice, and have minimal impact on the environment.
Working closely with our suppliers and distributors, we are focused on reducing our carbon footprint, and have committed to reaching Net-Zero by 2035. We continue to integrate sustainable and ethical practices into our day-to-day activities, and aim to be an economically, environmentally, and socially responsible member of the local and global community.
