Simpler Recycling

From March 31st, 2025, England will see the introduction of DEFRA’s ‘Simpler Recycling’ legislation, starting with businesses and non-residential properties. Not only will this new policy simplify how recyclable waste is separated across various settings and introduce standardised collections for different waste streams, it will also ensure that the rules for councils regarding recycling are more consistent and less fragmented and confusing for those affected by them.
