This year we replaced sending corporate Christmas cards with donations to two local charities focused on making a difference to local lives all year round.
Aspired Futures is a Blackpool based charity who provide therapeutic services for the most ‘hard to reach’ and vulnerable children and young people in the area.
The charity’s unique ‘wrap around the child’ solution focused approach delivers tailored services to support each child or young person, helping them overcome their personal challenges and empowering them to experience and establish skills they will need to improve their own life chances.
N-Vision are the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Society for the Blind. Based in Blackpool, the charity provides support and services to people with reduced vision across the area.
Services include a residential care home, low vision centre, talking newspaper, transcription service and care givers at home.
Both charities rely heavily on volunteers and donations to continue to provide their vital services and support.
Glasdon donated £500 to each charity which we hope will go a little way towards helping them on a day to day basis.
