The Guardian Lifebuoy Housing is a premier product at a very affordable price.

Built with Durapol® material, the unit can withstand extremes of temperature, to protect the life-saving devices inside from harmful UV which can degrade the equipment.

The Housings also act as a deterrent to vandals and thieves, reducing the frequency of costly Lifebuoy replacement.

Glasdon lifebuoys are fully compliant with Chapter III of the Life Saving Appliances code as per the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS).

The Guardian™ Lifebuoy Housing is available in two sizes and can be wall, rail or post mounted.

  • The 750 Housing can hold up to two B-Line™ throwing buoys or one 750mm (30") or 600mm (24") lifebuoy.

  • Water seal minimises damage to rope & buoy from exposure to salt water.

  • Choice of three fixing methods - post-mounting, rail-mounting or wall-mounting.
  • Post-mounting fixing available with either surface-mounting post or below-ground installation.

  • Tough polyethylene lifebuoys (available as an option) are drop-tested to over 30 metres and supplied with high visibility yellow grab lines and class 1 retroreflective banding.

From the very first enquiry, to meeting M****** at the factory who looked after me and my colleague very professionally and took a great interest in the story we had to tell behind our cricket team and reason for the memorial bench, to the team who I dealt with right through with A***** and K******, I couldn't fault anything. Very much appreciated. 2. Although the delivery was not something I could be involved with due to it's far location, I understand from the Riverdale Hotel where it was delivered to, everything was spot on. 3. We wanted a bench that was largely maintenance free due to it being located where we would only be visiting occasionally but annually. This bench ticks all the boxes in that regard, and the quality will stand up to any use it encounters. 4. We needed to change part of our order and this was handled very quickly and with no fuss 4. Due to it's delivery location perhaps an email confirming it had arrived would have been appropriate for me as the hotel failed to let me know, but otherwise all other communication was good. 5. I couldn't fault anything. The way me and my colleague was looked after at our initial meeting at the factory with M****** was very reassuring and professional and as I mentioned, he took a genuine interest in our story behind the purchase. It was so pleasing for us that he took time to deal with what to the company is a small purchase. M****** mentioned that you might be interested in receiving a photo or two of the bench at it's location and a small account of the story behind it with a view to putting it into your in-house magazine. I'd be more than happy to follow that up should you wish. Thanks again to the whole team.

I was only given information that delivery would be in the next 5 days and was in tescos when he called to say he was at the delivery address. Luckily I could be there quickly but more warning preferred even the day would have been helpful. Also the benches were very heavy and he had no one to help him unload. 3. Very pleased with the product. As I have said i am delighted with the benches and service, each individual I dealt with gave great service too many people involved and more information regarding delivery timing would have been helpful. Your drivers clearly travel all over the country and we were a stop south just off the M6. 3. You wouldn't believe how happy this bin has made me, not just the amazing colour (orange) and sturdy design but the fact that I can get our factory to recycle all our plastic bags. Winner 4. Didn't need any after sales, but I'm sure it would have been perfect. This type of bin needs to be promoted across all factories as we receive 90% of our parts in plastic bags that on the whole are in branded bags and get cut open, therefore un-re-useable. Let's get the factory nation recycling their plastic bags.

Embarrassing for us to chase our funder when that had alreaday paid. Good product. Girls taking details for the order good. Payment allocation poor. Communication poor, delivery product far too heavy for 1 man. Must contradict HSE rules on lifting.

The first order took away more than 5-10 working days and I had to ring up, when it arrived it was great. Second time, product really good, the item I wanted was delayed delivery so I paid extra for the larger one which was available. Asked for urgent delivery and that was promised, however, delivery still took some 16 days from order, which was very disappointing and I received no notification before or on the delivery day until courier rang from my doorstep. My previous order from you I had a text the night before and on the day. The quality is clear, but not enough emphasis on the time it takes to get things!
