Glasdon regularly supports charitable giving and recognises its importance especially during the festive period, which is why instead of sending a Company Christmas Card to Staff, Customers and Suppliers, we have decided to make a donation of £500 each to two local charities; 'Sign Hi Say Hi! Fylde, Wyre & Blackpool Deaf Children's Society' and 'Blackpool Polar Bears Multi-disability Swimming Club'.
Both charities maintain an imperative presence in the area, offering essential support and information to local families and young people. Sign Hi Say Hi! provides assistance to children who suffer from hearing impairments as well as support for family members.
Blackpool Polar Bears Multi-Disability Swimming Club plays a pivotal role in the community, offering swimming lessons to those with a physical or learning difficulty, encouraging access to facilities they would not otherwise use.
We value the hard work and dedication from both charities and wish them well for 2016.
