Gateway to History!

Runnymede in Surrey holds significance for its famous association with the sealing of the Magna Carta – a document originally issued by King John of England in 1215. This important historic document was established so everybody, including royalty, was subject to the law.

Runnymede was at the heart of the historic celebrations to mark the 800th anniversary on 15th June 2015. Numerous exciting events and activities took place including a visit from HM The Queen!

Members of the Royal Family and other VIP guests joined together, to help celebrate the anniversary of the Magna Carta and its impact across the world.

We are extremely proud to have our Glasdon Gateways as the welcome / boundary signage as people approach the site where history was made 800 years ago. These smart, low–maintenance and versatile sign carriers are an alternative to wooden gates – the ideal solution to help put this momentous occasion on the map!

View our YouTube page to see our product demonstration and testing videos! Also, if you'd like to talk to us about your sign carrier options, call us today on (01253) 600 411, email enquiries@glasdon-uk.co.uk, or use the Live Chat feature on this website.
