Here is a rundown of our sustainable materials;
Enviropol®
Enviropol is manufactured predominantly from post-consumer plastics. By balancing these uncontaminated recycled waste materials, the result is a remarkably versatile product with many applications and benefits. Enviropol will not chip or rust, is easy to clean and never needs painting.
Durapol®
Durapol is a polymer formulated to withstand extremes of temperature and is impact-tested in our Quality Assurance Laboratory. A number of Glasdon litter bins, recycling bins and bollards are made from Durapol, in particular, the Glasdon Jubilee™ 110 Litter Bin in Black is made from 15% recycled materials.
Duratec™
The majority of Glasdon indoor recycling bins are made from Duratec, which is a material specially created for internal environments, containing a minimum of 30% recycled content.
Timberpol®
Timberpol is a durable and strong substitute for wood. It is a sustainable option, made from 95% recycled and sustainably sourced raw materials. The composite is made up of 55% wood (reclaimed sawdust) and 40% polymer (post-consumer HDPE). Timberpol is made from UK-sourced recycled polymers and manufactured in the UK it is also environmentally friendly with a reduced carbon footprint. It is self-coloured and virtually maintenance-free.
FSC® certified Hardwood
Our limited range of wooden seats and benches are made from responsible FSC® certified hardwood.
